Sung Ji-Hyun is an artist praised for manipulating objects to make them more meaningful. In this collection of posh pop cans, Hyun covered three popular beverage containers in tiny jewels. The effect is beautiful; the cans and coffee cup dazzle and shimmer in the light. Hyun seems to be expressing his feelings regarding corporations. He may feel that they convince consumers that using their product will make them better, or that they target the elite.
